“I received the Society of Friends of RCI award just before going to university and it was key to being able to afford all my expenses like textbooks and residence. The award was helpful for ensuring I could focus on studying and enjoy getting into university life without having to work part time my first year. I was really grateful that so many people in Rivers supported academic and extracurricular endeavours, and encouraged me to pursue undergraduate studies.”
